Continuity Editing.

Continuity Editing is when cuts in a scene flow together so that the audience hardly notice, in other words the cuts are invisible. The audience then gets involved in the story and not focusing on the cuts.
Match on Action is where a cut is made to show a different view but the measurements have to be the same so that it does not seem like a cut has been made. An example would be the camera following someone walking into a room by the doorway, then there is a cut to the camera watching them walk through the doorway from the room. When the cut is made you can't tell as the measurements match up.
180 Degree Rule is also known as the line of interaction. It is an invisible line that the camera can not cross when filming two people interacting. If the line is crossed then the actors eye lines wont match and this will distract the audience from the story line.
